Bob Alberti is a writer, photographer and Internet security architect, who has also been a pioneer in two different areas. In the early 80s, he created the world’s first commercial online role-playing game company. In the early 90s, he was a co-author of the Internet Gopher Protocol, which was the world’s first Internet search and browse tool, a precursor to the World Wide Web. Yes, if you ask him he’ll inform you that both he and Al Gore (among others) were instrumental to the Internet you use today!

He is also a comedian, performer, actor and playwright. He wrote and performed in Principia Discordia for the 2014 Minnesota Fringe Festival, and he helped found, performs with, and has written several plays for Fearless Comedy Productions. He enjoys being a cast member of Vilification Tennis and performs regularly as Klaus de Baeker at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.

Bob also co-founded Bastard Nation (www.bastards.org) which promotes the rights of adopted persons.
